Packers Hiring Frank Cignetti As QBs Coach

Lance Allen reports that the Packer are “zeroing in” on Frank Cignetti to be their new QBs coach.

Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel has confirmed that the Packers are, in fact, hiring Cignetti as their new QBs coach.

Cignetti, 52, began his NFL coaching career with the Chiefs in 1999 as their offensive assistant. He later worked for the Saints, 49ers and Rams as their QBs coach before he was promoted to offensive coordinator in 2015.

The Giants hired Cignetti a year later as their QBs coach and he spent the past two years in New York.
