Packers Officially Hire Luke Getsy As QBs Coach

Update:

The Green Bay Packers announced Tuesday that they’ve officially hired Luke Getsy as their quarterbacks coach.

Rob Demovsky of ESPN reports that the Packers are bringing back Luke Getsy as their QBs coach under Matt LaFleur.

Getsy previously worked for Green Bay as their WRs coach before taking over as the offensive coordinator at Mississippi State.

Reports have said that Getsy was a possibility to return to the Packers and he reportedly has a great relationship with Aaron Rodgers.

Getsy, 34, began his coaching career at Akron back in 2007. He worked for a number of schools including West Virginia Wesleyan, Pittsburgh, Indiana and Western Michigan before being hired by the Packers as their offensive quality control coach in 2014.

Getsy worked his way up to WRs coach before departing for Mississippi State last year.
