Packers Lose Charles Woodson For 6 Weeks

Jay Glazer of Fox Sports reports that Packers S Charles Woodson has suffered a broken collarbone and will be out for six weeks.

Woodson suffered a similar injury during the Super Bowl, but his performance this year has been somewhat suspect. The Packers have some depth at the position, but they will now have to M.D. Jennings and rookie Jaron McMillan to replace him in their base defense.

Woodson has been more effective in the slot and blitzing, so it will be interesting to see how they adjust in the coming weeks. Injuries are really starting to add up for this team.
