Update:

Jason Wilde of ESPN Wisconsin reports that Packers starting C J.C. Tretter did not sustain ligament damage in his knee and is expected to miss 5-6 weeks.

Packers HC Mike McCarthy announced Sunday that starting C J.C. Tretter has a “significant” knee injury and will be out multiple weeks, per Tyler Dunne.

  • More testing is expected to be done in the coming days.

The hits just keep coming for the Packers as starting NT B.J. Raji suffered a serious bicep injury and could be done for the season.

Green Bay allowed veteran C Evan Dietrich-Smith to depart in free agency with the intention of Tretter taking over as their starter. The former fourth-round pick missed his entire rookie season with a fractured leg and ankle.

The Packers could be forced to start fifth-round pick Corey Linsley in Week 1’s game against the Seahawks.
