Packers May Be Forced To Play Jermichael Finley At WR This Weekend

According to Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, Packers TE Jermichael Finley could “play a lot” of receiver during Sunday’s game against the Browns.

Green Bay placed WR Randall Cobb on injured reserve with the designation to return on Tuesday and there’s also some doubt as to whether or not James Jones will be available in Week 7.

Finley is no stranger to lining up as a receiver, and his overall size should least give them some solid matchups against Cleveland’s cornerbacks. The most targets Finley has seen in a single game this season was 8 in Week 1. It’s seems very plausible that he’ll be able to surpass that figure this weekend.

We have Finley listed as our No. 19 player in our Top 50 – 2014 Free Agents list.
