Packers O-Line In Flux Following Injuries To Sherrod & Bulaga

Losing the perfect season was bad enough but seeing both RT Bryan Bulaga and rookie OT Derek Sherrod go down with injuries is a concern for team moving forward.

Sherrod suffered a very serious broken leg after Tamba Hali fell onto the lower portion of his leg. This injury could require a long rehabilitation process so we’ll have to see how he recovers for next season.

As for Bulaga, he was seen walking around in the locker room following the game so there’s a chance that the injury is pretty mild but an MRI is still scheduled for today.

As the Green Bay Packers look to rebound from their longest losing streak of the season — one game — they’ll be doing so with some significant injury problems on the offensive line.

I got rolled up into,” said Bulaga. “It’s football. I’m confident that we should be OK, but it’s kind of hard to talk about when they haven’t examined it further. We’ll see, the medical staff doesn’t know exactly what it is. We’ll know more tomorrow.”

Before these injuries the Packers were in decent shape as they hoped to have Chad Clifton back in the near future but now Green Bay’s line depth may force them to look else where for the time being. Some speculation has the Packers possibly re-signing Mark Tauscher but that doesn’t seem very likely.
