Packers Place OT Kyle Murphy On Injured Reserve

The Green Bay Packers announced Tuesday that they’ve placed OT Kyle Murphy on injured reserve with a foot injury.

  • The Packers also signed OT Ulrick John off of the Cardinals’ practice squad.

The Packers continue to deal with injuries at offensive tackle and could be without their top players again this Thursday.

Murphy, 23, is a former sixth-round pick of the Packers back in 2016. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $2.4 million contract and stands to make base salaries of $540,000 and $630,000 over the next two years of the agreement.

In 2017, Murphy appeared in three games for the Packers and is rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 54 offensive tackle out of 72 qualifying players.
