Packers Place RB Don Jackson On I.R. To Make Room For Christine Michael

Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Packers have placed RB Don Jackson on injured reserve to make room for RB Christine Michael, who was claimed off of waivers on Wednesday.

Jackson, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Nevada. Green Bay waived him in July but later signed him to their practice squad at the start of the season.

After sustaining some injuries at running back, the Packers called him up a month ago.

In 2016, Jackson has appeared in three games for the Packers and ran for 32 yards on 10 carries (3.2 YPC) and no touchdowns.
