Packers Place Rookie OLB Vince Biegel & CB Demetri Goodson On PUP List

The Green Bay Packers have placed rookie OLB Vince Biegel (foot) and CB Demetri Goodson (knee) on the active/PUP list on Thursday, according to Rob Demovsky.

  • The Packers also placed TE Aaron Peck (hamstring) on the non-football injury list.

The Packers can activate him at any time from the list once he’s healthy and ready to practice.

Biegel underwent foot surgery a few weeks after being drafted to correct a Jones fracture and was expected to be out possibly into training camp.

Biegel, 23, was selected with the No. 108 overall pick by the Packers in this year’s NFL Draft. Green Bay actually got this pick for trading out of round one with the Browns.

According to OverTheCap.com, Biegel will receive a four-year contract worth $3,093,748, which includes a signing bonus of $693,748.

During his college career at Wisconsin, Biegel recorded 131 tackles, 28.5 tackles for a loss, 15 sacks, two forced fumbles and three pass defenses over the course of 36 games.
