Packers Place WR Michael Clark On Retired List

The Green Bay Packers officially placed WR Michael Clark on the reserve/retired list on Tuesday.

Clark was added to the Packers’ did not report list a few weeks ago and reports later mentioned that he was retiring from the NFL, so this move was expected.

By placing Clark on thee retired list, the Packers ensure that they still hold his rights if he changes his mind and wants to return to the league at some point.

Clark, 22, wound up signing on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Marshall back in 2017. He was waived at the start of the season and later signed to the team’s practice squad.

The Packers brought Clark back on a one-year, exclusive rights contract this offseason.

In 2017, Clark appeared in two games for the Packers and caught four passes for 41 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
