Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy mentioned that RB Alex Green will continue to “carry a full load” in the coming weeks.
“I see the games as we move forward reflecting the game we just played. That will be our approach,” said McCarthy, via Fox Sports Wisconsin. “I was very pleased with Alex Green … I mean, I have no reason to think that he can’t carry a full load.”
McCarthy seemed to suggest that using James Starks was going to be no more than a contingency plan, assuming Green doesn’t suffer an injury of his own.
