Whitehead, 24, wound up signing on with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Auburn back in May of 2015. He was unfortunately among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason before later signing to the 49ers’ practice squad.
The Ravens elected to sign him to their active roster and brought him back on a one-year, exclusive rights deal before waiving him after last year’s draft. Whitehead later caught on with Packers and has been on and off of the practice squad.
In 2016, Whitehead was active for two games but did not record a statistic.
