Packers RB Eddie Lacy Wins Offensive Rookie Of The Year

Packers RB Eddie Lacy is the winner of the 2014 Offensive Rookie Of The Year award.

Lacy received 35 votes with Chargers WR Keenan Allen coming in second place with 12 votes. Lions G Larry Warford, Vikings WR Cordarrelle Patterson and Bengals RB Giovanni Bernard all got one vote each.

Lacy finished the season with 1,178 yards rushing on  284 carries while also contributing 11 touchdowns. The Packers were forced to lean on Lacy after Aaron Rodgers suffered a fractured collarbone that would ultimately keep him out for seven weeks.

You could have made a compelling case for Keenan Allen as well, but it’s hard to argue that Lacy wasn’t deserving after an incredible rookie season.
