Packers Re-Sign G Lane Taylor To A Two-Year, $4.15M Deal

Ian Rapoport is reporting that the Packers have re-signed G Lane Taylor to a two-year contract worth $4.15 million.

  • Rapoport adds that Taylor receives $600,000 guaranteed as part of this agreement.

Taylor, 25, wound up signing on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma State back in 2013. He’s managed to make the 53-man roster in each of his first three seasons and was in line to be a restricted free agent this offseason.

In 2015, Taylor appeared in four games for the Packers as a reserve lineman.

  1. Not sure why we give this contract to a backup guard. I guess moving on from Lang or Sitton when they’re contracts are up.
