The Green Bay Packers have agreed to terms with K Mason Crosby on a four-year deal.

The Packers elected to pass on using their franchise tag on him earlier in the day, but reports had said that the two sides were in regular contact with one another as of last week.

Crosby, 31, is a former sixth-round pick of the Packers back in 2007. He was in line to be one of the best available kickers in this year’s free agent market next week, but all signs pointed to him being back in Green Bay.

In 2015, Crosby appeared in all 16 games and converted 24 of 28 field goal attempts (85.7 percent) to go along with all 36 extra point tries and 40 touchbacks.
