Packers Re-Sign S Jermaine Whitehead To Practice Squad

The Green Bay Packers announced Wednesday that they’ve re-signed S Jermaine Whitehead to their practice squad.

The Packers’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. LB Carl Bradford
  2. TE Devon Cajuste
  3. OLB Reggie Gilbert
  4. G Lucas Patrick
  5. WR Herb Waters
  6. DT Brian Price
  7. WR Dez Stewart
  8. C Jacob Flores
  9. RB Brandon Burks
  10. Jermaine Whitehead

Whitehead, 23, wound up signing on with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Auburn back in May of last year. He was unfortunately among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason before later signing to the 49ers’ practice squad.

The Ravens elected to sign him to their active roster in December of last year and brought him back on a one-year, exclusive rights deal before waiving him after this year’s draft. Whitehead later caught on with Packers and has been on and off of the practice squad this season.

In 2016, Whitehead has been active for two games but has yet to record a statistic.
