According to Rob Demovsky of ESPN, the Packers will re-sign exclusive rights free agent P Jacob Schum next week.
Demovsky mentions that Schum will take his physical for the Packers next week and sign his exclusive rights tender.
Schum, 28, originally signed on with the Browns as an undrafted free agent out of Buffalo back in 2013. He lasted just a few months in Cleveland before he was waived.
Schum bounced around a bit with the Buccaneers and Jets before Tampa Bay cut him loose during the preseason last year and he was later claimed off of waivers by the Packers.
In 2016, Schum appeared in all 16 games for the Packers and totaled 2,269 yards on 56 attempts (40.51 YPA) and four touchbacks.
