Ian Rapoport reports that the Packers have requested permission to interview Titans OC Matt LaFleur for their head-coaching vacancy.
This brings the requested interviews for the Packers to:
- Former Colts & Lions HC Jim Caldwell (NFLTR)
- Former Colts HC Chuck Pagano (NFLTR)
- Northwestern HC Pat Fitzgerald (Expected, NFLTR)
- Patriots OC Josh McDaniels (Requested, NFLTR)
- Patriots DC Brian Flores (Requested, NFLTR)
- Saints assistant HC/TEs coach Dan Campbell (Requested, NFLTR)
- Steelers OL Coach Mike Munchak (Requested, NFLTR)
- Titans OC Matt LaFleur
LaFleur, 39, began his NFL coaching career with the Texans as their offensive quality control coach back in 2008. He later took over as the Redskins’ QBs coach in 2010 and spent four years with Washington.
After one year at Notre Dame, LaFleur returned to the NFL when the Falcons hired him as their QBs coach in 2015. He spent two years in Atlanta and one year as the Rams’ offensive coordinator before joining the Titans a year ago.
