The Packers could be clearing a roster spot for a receiver, seeing as Davante Adams is unlikely to play against the Cardinals, due to an MCL injury.

Quarless, 27, still has one year remaining on his Signed a two-year, $3 million contract, which includes a base salary of $1.3 million to go along with a $200,000 roster bonus and a $75,000 workout bonus.

The Packers placed Quarless on the short-term injured reserve a few weeks into the season after he sustained a MCL sprain.

There had been talk that Quarless could be cut loose following an incident in which he fired a gun in Florida during the offseason, but Green Bay elected to stand by him.

In 2015, Quarless appeared in just five games for the Packers and caught four passes for 31 yards.
