Packers Sign DE Julius Peppers

Josina Anderson first reported that the Green Bay Packers have signed DE Julius Peppers to a three-year contract.

  • According to Anderson, Peppers receives a three-year deal worth a max of $30 million and includes $7.5 million guaranteed.
  • Peppers first year salary will be $8.5 million.

Last year, wasn’t the best season for Peppers. However, Peppers produced 46 tackles, 7.5 sacks, two forced fumbles an interception and a fumble returned for a touchdown in 2013.

Pro Football Focus has Peppers rated as the No. 36 defensive end in a 4-3 system.
