Packers Sign DL Letroy Guion

The Green Bay Packers have agreed to terms with former Vikings DL Letroy Guion, according to his agent, Thomas Kleine.

  • Rob Demovsky reports that Guion’s deal is a one-year contract and could earn up to $1 million through weekly roster bonuses.
  • Demvosky adds that Guion obtained a $730,000 base salary and a $100,000 signing bonus.
  • According to Aaron Wilson, Guion receives a one-year deal.

Guion, 26, was released by Minnesota about a week ago. The Vikings elected to take the $4 million in cap space and put it towards free agent upgrades like Linval Joseph.

Last year, he totaled 21 tackles, one sack, a forced fumble and a recovery over the course of 13 games.

According to Pro Football Focus, Guion rated as the No. 60 defensive tackle in the league last year.
