Packers Sign Fifth-Round Pick QB Brett Hundley

Tom Silverstein reports that the Packers have signed fifth-round pick QB Brett Hundley to a four-year contract on Thursday.

This comes just a few minutes after the Packers locked up fourth-round pick LB Jake Ryan, so they are clearly working to get these contracts done with their 2015 draft class.

Hundley was one of the more interesting picks in all of the draft, as some believed he could have come off the board as high as round two. On top of that, the Packers are clearly set at quarterback with Aaron Rodgers, so this appears to be a developmental situation where they could eventually flip Hundley down the line if he pans out.

According to OverTheCap.com, Ryan is projected to receive a four-year contract worth $2,469,532, which includes a signing bonus of $189,532 .

During his three years at UCLA, Hundley threw for 9,966 yards while completing 67.6 percent of his passes to go along with 75 touchdowns and 25 interceptions. He also contributed 1,747 yards rushing and 30 rushing touchdowns.
