Packers Sign Second-Round Pick WR Davante Adams

Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Packers have signed second-round pick WR Davante Adams to a four-year deal on Thursday.

The Packers have all but one of their 2014 draft picks under contract with the only remaining player being third-round selection TE Richard Rodgers.

Adams’ four-year contract is worth an estimated $3,933,402 and includes a signing bonus of $1,180,656, according to OverTheCap.com.

The Packers have said that they believe Adams can replace veteran WR James Jones who departed in free agency.

Last year, Adams caught 131 passes for 1,719 yards receiving and a mind-blowing 24 touchdowns over the course of 13 games.
