Packers Sign Third-Round Pick WR Ty Montgomery

The Green Bay Packers have signed third-round pick WR Ty Montgomery to a four-year contract on Wednesday, according to his agent (via Rob Demovsky).

This leaves first-round selection DB Damarious Randall as the only player from their 2015 draft class who has yet to sign his rookie contract.

Montgomery was an intriguing pick for the Packers given that they could use his return skills, but he’ll likely be relegated to No. 4 or No. 5 receiver duties in year one.

According to OverTheCap.com, Montgomery is projected to receive a four-year contract worth $2,886,544, which includes a signing bonus of $606,544.

During his four years at Stanford, Montgomery caught 172 passes for 2,125 yards receiving to go along with 39 rushing attempts for 334 yards (8.6 YPC) and 19 total touchdowns. He also socred five return touchdowns for Stanford.
