Packers Signing OT Ulrick John Off Cardinals’ Practice Squad

Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports that the Packers are signing OT Ulrick John off of Cardinals’ practice squad on Monday.

This indicates that Green Bay is concerned about their offensive tackle depth after Bryan Bulaga was forced to leave Sunday’s game against the Bengals and David Bakhtiari is out with a hamstring injury. Kyle Murphy was also added to their practice squad on Monday.

John, 25, is a former seventh-round pick of the Colts back in 2014. He lasted over a year in Indianapolis before signing on to the Dolphins’ active roster.

John spent another year in Miami before the Cardinals signed him off of the Dolphins’ practice squad. Unfortunately, Arizona elected to cut him loose a few weeks ago and he later returned to their practice squad.

In 2016, John was active for three games.
