The Green Bay Packers officially placed CB Ladarius Gunter on waivers Tuesday.
Gunter, 25, signed on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Miami back in May of 2015. He was entering the final year of a three-year, $1.58 million contract and was set to make a base salary of $615,000 this season.
In 2016, Gunter was active for all 16 games for the Packers and recorded 54 total tackles, 12 pass defenses, and two forced fumbles. According to ProFootballFocus, he played in two snaps during Week 1.
