Packers Waive QB Taysom Hill

The Green Bay Packers are waiving QB Taysom Hill on Saturday, as they cut their roster down to 53 players, according to Michael Cohen.

This, of course, means that the Packers will carry just two quarterbacks this year, considering that they’ve already waived Joe Callahan.

Hill, 27, signed on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of BYU back in May. It was his first opportunity on an NFL team.

During his five-year college career, Hill recorded 609 completions on 1,047 pass attempts (58.2 percent) for 6,929 yards, 43 touchdowns, and 31 interceptions.
