Packers Waive TE Mitchell Dixon From I.R. With Settlement

The Green Bay Packers officially waived TE Mitchell Dixon from injured reserve on Thursday.

Dixon, 24, originally signed on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Western Kentucky back in May. He was unable to make the Packers’ 53-man roster was later claimed off of waivers by the Broncos.

The Broncos waived him a month later. Henry returned to the Packers in October and was brought back on a future/reserve contract. Unfortunately, the Packers elected to waive him an injury designation before Tuesday’s deadline.

Last year, Henry was active for two games, but did not record a single statistic.
