Packers Waive Three Players

The Green Bay Packers officially waived LS Derek Hart, WR Colby Pearson, and RB William Stanback on Monday.

With the Packers cutting Hart, it means Brett Goode will be the team’s long snapper this season.

Hart, 24, wound up going undrafted out of James Madison back in 2015. The Packers gave him a shot back in January when they signed him to a future/reserve contract.

During his four-year college career, Hart appeared in 43 games and even caught three passes for 53 yards receiving and no touchdowns. He also added three tackles on special teams.
