Packers Worked Out DL Kendall Reyes & DE Joey Mbu

According to Rob Demovsky, the Packers brought in free agent defensive linemen Kendall Reyes and Joey Mbu for workouts on Monday.

The Packers officially placed DL Muhammad Wilkerson on injured reserve last week, so they could add someone at the position in the coming days.

Reyes, 29, is a former second-round pick of the Chargers back in 2012. He played out his rookie contract with the Chargers before signing a one-year, $2.5 million contract with the Redskins back in 2016.

Unfortunately, the Redskins elected to cut him loose during the season and he wound up finishing out the year with the Chiefs. The Jets signed him to a contract during the preseason, but he was cut loose as they trimmed their roster down to 53 players.

In 2016, Reyes appeared in 12 games and recorded 20 tackles, one sack and a pass defense.
