Packers Worked Out Four Players Including DE Geneo Grissom

According to Howard Balzer, the Green Bay Packers brought in four free agents for workouts on Tuesday, including DE Geneo Grissom.

The full list of tryouts for the Packers includes:

1. OT Gerhard de Beer
2. DE Geneo Grissom
3. FB Malcolm Johnson
4. LB Jacob Pugh

Of this group, the Packers signed de Beer to their practice squad.

Grissom, 26, is a former third-round pick of the Patriots back in 2015. He spent a portion of his rookie season on the Patriots’ practice squad before being called up in October.

Since then, Grissom has been on and off the Patriots’ active roster.

Since becoming a free agent, he has worked out for the Colts and Jets but left both meetings without a contract.

In 2018, Grissom has appeared in four games for the Patriots and recorded one tackle and no sacks.
