Packers WR Davante Adams Expected To Play In Week 5

Rob Demovsky of ESPN reports that Packers WR Davante Adams has cleared the league’s concussion protocol and is expected to play in Week 5.

Adams took a hard helmet-to-helmet hit from Bears LB Danny TrevathanĀ in Week 4 and has been working his way through the NFL’s concussion protocol this week.

Clearly, the extended week following their Thursday night matchup with Chicago worked in Adams’ favor.

So far this season, Adams has appeared in all four games and recordedĀ 16 receptions for 219 yards receiving (13.7 YPC) and two touchdowns. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 54 receiver out of 107 qualifying players.

We have him featured in our Top 25 ā€“ 2018 NFL Free Agents list.
