Packers Officially Rule Out Greg Jennings For Week 7

The Packers have ruled out WR Greg Jennings for Week 7, but believe he has a chance to return for Week 8’s game.

“We’re hopeful for next week,” said head coach Mike McCarthy, per Bill Huber.

Pete Dougherty of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports that Packers WR Greg Jennings missed another practice on Thursday because of his troublesome groin injury.

Jennings figures to miss another game this weekend, which means James Jones and Randall Cobb should see more work.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings did not return to practice on Wednesday with his groin injury, per Rob Demovsky.

Jennings has missed the last two games through injury, and could have to sit out another on Sunday against the St. Louis Rams.

Jennings has pledged not to return to the field until he is one hundred percent. It should be noted that receiver James Jones has performed admirably in his absence.
