Packers WR Jordy Nelson Doubtful For Sunday’s Game?

Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel writes that Packers WR Jordy Nelson could very well be held out of Sunday’s game against the Jaguars after he suffered a hamstring injury during Wednesday’s practice.

“If it’s bad enough that he can’t practice during the week, it’s probably bad enough that he can’t play,” writes Silverstein.

If Nelson is in fact unable to play, Donald Driver and Jarrett Boykin figure to see extra snaps. Thankfully for them, they get a banged up Jaguars team this weekend.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson will be held out of practice on Friday, Tom Silverstein reports.

Nelson pulled his hamstring on Wednesday, and won’t test it until Saturday or Sunday, so he could be a game-time decision before the Packers host the Jacksonville Jaguars at Lambeau Field.

Greg Jennings is already on the shelf with his groin injury, and if Nelson doesn’t play on Sunday there will be just four active receivers (James Jones, Randall Cobb, Donald Driver and Jarrett Boykin) available.
