Packers WR Jordy Nelson Wins Comeback Player Of The Year

Packers WR Jordy Nelson was named the Associated Press 2016 Comeback Player of the Year Saturday night at the NFL Honors show.

Nelson, 31, is a former second-round pick of the Packer back in 2008. He’s currently in the third year of his five-year, $43 million contract and stands to make base salaries of $8.25 million and $9.25 million over the final two years of the contract.

In 2016, Nelson appeared in all 16 games and caught 97 passes for 1,257 yards receiving and 14 touchdowns.
