The Panthers have announced that they have placed C Ryan Kalil on the injured reserve list.

Panthers head coach Ron Rivera mentioned that C Ryan Kalil could be out for the season after his foot injury is apparently worse than initially believed.
“It doesn’t look good,” said Rivera, per Joseph Person. “It’s scary. If we do (put him on IR), we’ll probably announce something soon.”
Kalil is considered to be one of the best centers in the NFL and hasn’t missed a game since 2008. This would definitely have an impact on the team’s offensive line. Kalil is certain to miss an extended period of time. We’ll have more as the news becomes available.
