Panthers DE Wes Horton Suspended 4 Games

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Panthers DE Wes Horton has been suspended 4 games for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy.

Horton, 25, also signed on with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent out USC back in 2013. He was in the final year of his three-year, $1.485 million rookie contract when the Panthers cut him a few months ago.

However, Carolina later re-signed him to a contract a week into October.

This year, Horton has appeared in eight games and recorded seven tackles and a sack for the Panthers.
