Panthers G Chris Scott officially signed his exclusive rights tender on Wednesday, according to the NFL transactions release.
Scott, 26, was selected in the fifth round of the 2010 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers, but lasted a little over a year with the team before being waived.
He appeared in 10 games for the Panthers last season and made eight starts for them, including the season opener. However, he unfortunately suffered a knee injury that prevented him from playing in the final six games.
