Panthers Place DE Ryan Delaire On I.R. & Promote DL Larry Webster

The Carolina Panthers announced Tuesday that they’ve placed DE Ryan Delaire on injured reserve and promoted DL Larry Webster to their active roster.

Delaire, 24, originally signed on with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of back in May of last year. He lasted just a few months with the Buccaneers before he was waived coming out of the preseason and later signed to the Redskins’ practice squad.

The Panthers would later sign him to their active roster and he finished out the year in Carolina. Delaire was designated as Carolina’s player to return from injured reserve a month ago.

In 2016, Delaire has appeared in six games for the Panthers and recorded three tackles, one sack and a pass defense.
