The Carolina Panthers announced that they have placed LB Jeremy Cash on the injured reserve and promoted DE Bryan Cox from their practice squad in a corresponding roster move.

Cash, 24, signed on with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent out of Duke back in May of last year. He is in the second year of a three-year, $1.62 million contract that included $540,000
In 2016, Cash appeared in eight games for the Panthers and recorded six total tackles.
