Panthers Re-Sign DT Colin Cole To A One-Year Deal

According to ESPN’s  John Clayton (per David Newton) the Carolina Panthers have re-signed DT Colin Cole to a one-year contract worth $1.05 million.

  • Clayton adds that Cole’s new contract will carry a cap figure of $665,000 for the 2015 season. (per Newton)

Cole, 34, agreed to a one-year deal with the Panthers last year, so he’s clearly on a year-to-year basis with the team.

In 2014, Cole appeared in all 16 games and recorded 28 tackles and a fumble recovery for the Panthers. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 69 defensive tackle in the league out of 81 qualifying players.
