The Carolina Panthers announced Monday that they’ve re-signed three exclusive rights free agents to one-year deals for the 2018 season including P Michael Palardy, WR Damiere Byrd, and OL Tyler Larsen.
Byrd, 25, wound up signing on with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent out of South Carolina back in 2015. Since then Byrd has been on and off of their active roster.
The Panthers placed him on injured reserve with a fractured forearm last year before bring activating him from the list in December. Unfortunately, Bryd returned to injured reserve a few weeks later.
In 2017, Byrd appeared in eight games for the Panthers and caught 10 passes for 105 yards receiving and two touchdowns.
