The Panthers are re-signing DE Larry Webster to their practice squad on Wednesday, according to Black & Blue Review.
The Panthers’ practice squad now consists of:
- DT Eric Crume
- LB Brian Blechen
- S Travell Dixon
- WR Keyarris Garrett
- CB Zach Sanchez
- TE Beau Sandland
- RB Jalen Simmons
- G David Yankey
- DE Larry Webster
Webster, 26, is a former fourth-round pick by the Lions of the 2014 NFL Draft. He completed one year of a four-year, $2,520,584 rookie contract when he was waived by Detroit as they trimmed down to the 53-man limit.
The Panthers signed Webster to a future/reserve contract back in January but later cut him loose coming out of the preseason. Carolina signed him to their practice squad before promoting him on Saturday.
Webster was waived earlier in the week.
Webster has yet to appear during an NFL game.
