Panthers Reach Agreement With OL Chris Scott

Rand Getlin of Yahoo Sports reports that the Carolina Panthers have reached an agreement with OL Chris Scott.

Scott, 27, is a former fifth-round pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers back in 2010. He spent two years with Pittsburgh before he was waived at the start of the 2012 regular season.

Since then, Scott has played for the Packers, Buccaneers, Titans, Bills and Panthers.

Scott was a restricted free agent, so it’s likely that he accepted a modest contract from the Panthers.

In 2014, he appeared in eight games for the Panthers and played a total of 75 snaps, according to Pro Football Focus.
