Panthers Rookie WR Curtis Samuel Out For Season

Mike Garafolo of NFL Media is reporting that Panthers rookie WR Curtis Samuel will be shut down for the season with an ankle injury.

  • According to Adam Schefter, Samuel suffered ligament damage to his ankle.

All indications have been that Samuel was likely going to miss an extended period of time following this injury.

You can expect the Panthers to place him on injured reserve in the coming days and add someone to their roster.

In 2017, Samuel has appeared in nine games and caught 15 passes for 115 yards receiving to go along with 64 yards rushing on four carries and no touchdowns. He also contributed 221 kick return yards.
