Panthers Sign DE Alex Hall

The Carolina Panthers announced the signing of former Winnipeg Blue Bombers DE Alex Hall on Friday.

  • Jim Wyatt reported on Thursday that DE Alex Hall visited the Titans earlier in the week.

Hall, 28, previously played for the Browns back in 2008-2009, but bounced around a bit after that.

He spent the previous two years in Winnipeg and posted 16 sacks last season, which was good enough for the second highest sack total in the league.

Carolina has a very good defensive line, so it will be interesting to see if he’s capable of cracking the team’s 53-man roster in late August.
