The Carolina Panthers signed S Anderson Russell to a contract on Thursday, according to the NFL Transactions release.
Russell, 26, signed with the Washington Redskins as an undrafted free agent out of Ohio State back in 2010. He was with the Dolphins and Panthers during the 2012 season appearing six total games, but didn’t record a tackle.
He’ll most likely have to compete for a roster spot during training camp.
