The Carolina Panthers announced Tuesday that they’ve signed S Marcus Ball to their practice squad.

The Panthers practice squad now consists of:
- S Marcus Ball
- WR Damiere ByrdÂ
- OT Pierce Burton
- C Eric Kush
- DT Chas Alecxih
- DE Rakim Cox
- OT David FoucaultÂ
- LB Adarius Glanton (Exception)
- TE Scott Simonson
- CB Lou Young
Ball, 27, signed as a free agent with the Argonauts back in February of 2012. He spent two years with the Argonauts and totaled  142 tackles, seven sacks, four interceptions, two returned for touchdowns and three fumble recoveries over this time.
New Orleans wound up signing him to a three-year contract in April of last year and Ball would go on to appear in 12 games and recorded 16 tackles for the Saints.
Ball later caught on with the Panthers, but was among their final roster cuts a month ago.
