The Carolina Panthers announced the signing of S Tom Nelson on Saturday.
The #Panthers have signed safety Tom Nelson. He’s played in 24 games in three seasons with Cincinnati and Philadelphia.

Nelson, 27, signed with the Bengals as an undrafted free agent back in 2009. He played two years for Cincinnati before joining the Eagles for a season.
Nelson most recently signed a reserve/future contract with the Bears, but he was waived before the start of the 2013 regular season.
He has appeared in 24 career games and recorded 29 tackles, one interception, and two pass defenses.
