Panthers Sign WR Mike Brown To A Future/Reserve Contract

The Carolina Panthers announced Thursday that they have signed WR Mike Brown a future/reserve contract.

Brown, 25, signed on the the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of Liberty back in 2012. Jacksonville re-signed him as an exclusive rights free agent last year, but he was later placed on waivers this past November.

Brown wound up signing to the Jaguars practice squad a few days  later.

In 2014, he appeared in five games and caught seven passes for 88 yards receiving and no touchdowns. He also contributed on special teams for the Jaguars.
